What are the requirements to become a part of the Core Leadership Team?
Core Leadership Team (CLT)
“Committed – Connected – Compassionate”
Purpose:
Providing a strong leadership base to Grace Christian Fellowship to assist in fulfilling the church’s vision and mission.
Authority and Responsibilities:
1.To attend the CLT monthly meeting and function as an advisory and overseeing group where all ministry leaders and the elder group will accountable of their activities, decisions, finances, and sense of direction for the church. The CLT will be able to provide any input and encouragement regarding any matter related to the church and it’s direction. The purpose of this experience together is to provide clear and accurate information, build unity and support among all committed members of the church, and to demonstrate emotional and verbal support to those overseeing the Lord’s work at Grace Christian Fellowship.
2.To seek at all times to love one another like Christ loves us and to live out Christian living and expressing leadership in the church with absolutely no hidden agendas or self-seeking motives. We are always to place others before ourselves having no selfish ambitions, walking out “denying self, taking up the cross, and following Christ.”
3.To be committed to and make attending Sunday Morning services a genuine priority. Also, to be there about 30 minutes early in order to help in facilitating all of the activities occurring and making people arriving feel loved and welcomed to the church.
4.To be committed to Grace Christian Fellowship’s Vision, Mission, and the 7 Basic Doctrinal Statements of GCF.
5.To be committed to regular and consistent financial support of Grace Christian Fellowship in order for adequate resources to be available to provide for the ministry of the church.
6.To support and be actively involved in one of the church’s home groups and/or a particular significant ministry at GCF.
7.To be faithful in attendance and help in facilitating the First Thursday Praise and Prayer meetings each month.
8.To be a strong and faithful witness of our Lord Jesus and of Grace Christian Fellowship in the community seeking to lead others to faith in Christ and meaningful church membership at Grace.
Membership:
Membership on this team is open to any Grace Christian Fellowship member who is willing to be committed and adhere to all of the above features of “authority and responsibilities.”
